In response to the growing trend of mobile app-based ordering and delivery systems in the cafe industry to enhance customer experience and streamline operations. With competitors already offering similar services, my goal was to create a powerful mobile app that not only met but exceeded customer expectations, thereby solidifying our position in the market.

Problem Statement

In an increasingly digital world, traditional cafes face the challenge of meeting the evolving expectations of their tech-savvy customer base. Although competitors already have mobile app solutions for ordering and delivery, the absence of a dedicated mobile app not only limited the cafe's ability to engage with customers but also resulted in inefficiencies in the ordering process, leading to potential revenue loss and customer dissatisfaction.

Solution

Based upon the methodologies and best practices by the Google UX Programme, CUPPA COOP adopted a design approach centered around user empathy and iterative prototyping. The app was meticulously crafted to offer a seamless and intuitive user experience, with emphasis placed on clear navigation and visually engaging interfaces. Iterative design iterations, informed by user feedback and usability testing, ensured that the final product exceeded expectations both in usability and visual appeal.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Both Newsbar and Partnerscoffee have notable strengths in branding, user interface design, and customer engagement. However, addressing weaknesses such as navigation challenges, design inconsistencies, and accessibility limitations are crucial for optimizing user experience and ensuring inclusivity.

Gaps & Opportunities
Addressing the identified gaps and leveraging the outlined opportunities presents a pathway for both Newsbar and Partnerscoffee to enhance and improve user satisfaction. By focusing on visual appeal, simplifying processes, and improving accessibility, CUPPA COOP can create a more engaging and inclusive platform that meets the diverse needs of customers and users.

By analyzing usability testing reports of cafe ordering app, I've identified actionable insights to enhance app's user experience. Implementing improvements in navigation, form design, and feedback mechanisms will not only address current usability issues but also elevate overall user satisfaction and engagement.
